Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of F&B facilities, including kitchens, dining areas, and storage spaces
Oversee other areas of soft services for the facility as required
Manage events that may range from small to really large, with multiple requirements related to F&B etc.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and quality control measures
Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in F&B facilities
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets for F&B facility operations
Analyze financial performance and implement cost-saving measures
Oversee procurement processes and vendor relationships
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of facility managers and staff
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities
Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service
Implement and oversee quality control systems
Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback
Ensuring proper documentation and keeping records (sanitation, food subsidy records, etc.) up to date and consistent with government standards are a must do.
Sustainability and Innovation:
Implement sustainable practices in F&B facility management
Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovative solutions
Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Oversee health and safety protocols, including emergency preparedness
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with other departments to align F&B facility operations with overall organizational goals
Maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
Report to senior management on facility performance and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
8+ years of experience in facility management, with 3-4 years within the F&B sector
Strong knowledge of F&B operations, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in facility management software and financial analysis tools
Certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or similar are preferred
