Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts
Location: Salem, Tamil Nadu
Reports to: Finance Manager / Senior Manager - Accounts
Department: Finance and Accounts
Salary: ₹50,000 - ₹60,000 per month
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Accounts will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities and accounting operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and finance, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel is essential. Experience in the real estate domain is an advantage, but candidates from any business domain are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
•	Accounting and Financial Management:
o	Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
o	Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
o	Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
o	Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
•	Financial Analysis:
o	Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
o	Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analysis reports.
o	Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
•	Banking and Regulatory Compliance:
o	Manage banking relationships and ensure smooth banking operations.
o	Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
o	Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
•	Software Proficiency:
o	Utilize Tally for accounting operations and ensure data accuracy.
o	Use MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
•	Team Collaboration:
o	Work closely with other departments to support financial and accounting needs.
o	Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
•	Real Estate Exposure (Advantageous):
o	Manage financial transactions and accounting for real estate projects.
o	Handle property-related financial documentation and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
•	Education:
o	Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA), or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance.
•	Experience:
o	Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts and finance.
o	Experience in the real estate sector is an added advantage.
•	Technical Skills:
o	Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
o	Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
o	Experience with financial analysis and banking operations.
•	Soft Skills:
o	Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o	Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o	High attention to detail and organizational skills.
o	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
•	Gender: Male or Female candidates.
•	Origin: Preferred candidates from Salem or willing to relocate to Salem.
