Job description
Dear candidates,
We are hiring for Chef Assistant to assist in preparing meals using techniques such as blending, dehydrating, marinating, and fermenting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Accurately measure and portion ingredients according to recipe requirements.
2. Assist the head chef in preparing dishes based on a no-oil and no-boil philosophy.
3. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, clean, and prepped for use.
4. Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, as raw food preparation.
5. Assist the kitchen team with any other duties as required.
Qualification:
1. Hold degree in Hotel Management, Catering or related field.
3. Most kitchens require chef assistants to have a food safety.
4. Proficiency in measuring and portioning ingredients accurately.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
6. Effectively communicate with kitchen staff.
