Position Overview: The Captain at Hotel Chenthur Park will lead the service team to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and a customer-centric mindset to maintain high service standards and contribute to the smooth functioning of restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the dining area and coordinate the activities of waitstaff.
• Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service, handling special requests and complaints with professionalism.
• Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any specials or promotions.
• Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and hotel policies.
• Supervise table settings, food presentation, and cleanliness of the dining area.
• Liaise between kitchen staff and service staff to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of orders.
• Keep accurate records of service operations, including guest feedback and inventory used.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Captain or in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• A customer-focused attitude and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
