Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnostic and Repair: Perform thorough diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles. Conduct repairs and replacements on mechanical and electrical components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure proper vehicle upkeep.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on vehicle status, and explain repair or maintenance needs and costs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all service work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional recommendations.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed to industry standards and comply with local regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Attend training sessions and workshops as required.

Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical certification or degree preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models is a plus.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with automotive repair tools and equipment.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license. ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Personal Traits: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
