Job Overview:

We are looking for a data-driven Ecommerce Analyst to join our Product Team. As part of a SaaS company that provides ecommerce financial analysis tools, you will be responsible for supporting product development through deep insights into ecommerce data, marketplace operations, and financial reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indian marketplaces and an understanding of how ecommerce financial data is used for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Product Support & Insights:
• Provide data-driven insights to the Product Team to enhance the SaaS tool’s functionality for ecommerce financial analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify key metrics, reports, and features required by users managing ecommerce businesses.
• Assist in defining product requirements by providing user feedback, especially from Indian marketplace sellers, and suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
• Ecommerce Data Analysis:
• Analyze sales, returns, refunds, and transaction data from various Indian ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra) to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track the performance of ecommerce operations.
• Financial Reconciliation Expertise:
• Work closely with the product development team to improve and automate financial reconciliation features within the SaaS tool.
• Ensure that the platform accurately reconciles financial data such as payments, commissions, refunds, and returns from marketplaces.
• Identify pain points and challenges in current financial reconciliation processes and contribute to creating solutions that align with the platform’s objectives.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
• Act as the bridge between the Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams by providing detailed ecommerce performance metrics and user scenarios.
• Work with the customer success team to understand user challenges and translate those into product improvements.
• User Feedback & Market Research:
• Engage with users and gather feedback on the SaaS tool’s performance, especially regarding financial analysis and reconciliation.
• Stay updated on Indian marketplace policies, fees, and operational changes to ensure the SaaS tool remains relevant and competitive.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Ecommerce, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, particularly with Indian marketplaces (Amazon India, Flipkart, etc.).
• Strong background in financial reconciliation and the ability to translate user needs into product features.
• Proficient in data analysis, with experience in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of ecommerce KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion rates, returns) and financial metrics (e.g., COGS, P&L).
• Experience working in or collaborating with product development teams, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Excellent communication skills to explain data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:
• Knowledge of accounting practices and software related to ecommerce.
• Prior experience working with APIs from ecommerce platforms or data integration tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
