Job description
Job title: Quality Executive -Food Safety
Location: Chennai
Roles and Responsibilities to be adhered to :
§ Plan and conduct periodic Food Safety audits across all outlets.
§ Preparation of Food Safety Management System as per the Best Manufacturing Practices; this involves establishing relevant procedures and formats.
§ Oversee the effective implementation of GMP and HACCP requirements in all outlets.
§ Develop schedules and conduct periodic audit process to ensure adherence of statutory and food safety controls.
§ Guarantee that safe/hygienic food is prepared at all times by ensuring right processes are in place.
§ Establish and ensure cleanliness compliance are followed meticulously in all outlets at all times.
§ Consistent improvement in internal outlet Audit score.
§ Work in collaboration with the manufacturing, operation, maintenance team, etc. for effective closure of identified non-conformities.
§ Assist the outlet team for NC closure for both external and internal audits.
§ Track maintenance of sustainability goals across all outlets.
§ Monitor process control for procurement; inspection of raw materials, semi-processed and packed foods; control of out sourced processes and products.
§ Closely supervise RM± testing, complaint handling, calibration process, cleaning and sanitation process & Pest Management.
§ Assist in training staff to follow the established protocols and best practices during production.
§ Monitor consumer complaint trends, by working with cross functional team on corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement.
Job Requirements:
§ B.Tech Degree in Food Technology or any other relevant discipline
§ Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality standard and regulatory requirements.
§ Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance programs.
§ Should be skilled at evaluating processes, identifying non-compliance issues, and providing recommendations for improvement.
§ Hands-on experience with Food manufacturing technology/ Food Safety audit
§ Possess strong professional ethics.
§ Time management and prioritization.
§ Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
