Key Responsibilities
• Academic Leadership: Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of academic programs, curricula, and instructional delivery. Provide leadership in curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation processes.
• Faculty and Staff Management: Support the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of faculty and staff members to ensure a competent and motivated workforce. Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement among faculty and staff.
• Student Affairs and Services: Oversee student support services, counseling programs, and extracurricular activities to promote student engagement, retention, and success. Address student concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in accordance with institutional policies and regulations.
• Academic Administration: Manage academic scheduling, course assignments, examination processes, and grading procedures to ensure adherence to academic calendars and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with department heads, program coordinators, and faculty members to streamline administrative workflows.
• Curriculum Development: Participate in the review, revision, and enhancement of academic curricula, course offerings, and educational resources to align with industry trends, technological advancements, and student learning needs. Encourage innovation in teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
• Faculty Development: Facilitate professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions for faculty members to enhance their teaching effectiveness, research productivity, and professional growth. Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to faculty in their academic pursuits.
• Student Recruitment and Retention: Collaborate with the admissions office and marketing team to develop strategies for student recruitment, enrollment management, and retention initiatives. Engage with prospective students, parents, and educational stakeholders to promote the institution's academic programs and offerings.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies related to academic programs, facilities, and student services. Participate in quality assurance processes, program reviews, and institutional assessments.
• Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, parents, alumni, industry partners, and community members. Represent the institution at academic meetings, conferences, and professional associations.
• Strategic Planning and Implementation: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, goals, and objectives aimed at advancing the institution's mission, vision, and values. Collaborate with the Principal and senior leadership team in decision-making, resource allocation, and institutional advancement.

Qualifications
• Master's degree in Engineering (M.E) with Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) is must.
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of steadily increasing leadership experience in academic administration, ideally in engineering colleges or higher education establishments.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, academic program management, and faculty development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in higher education administration.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in educational leadership.
• Proficiency in computer applications and educational technologies.
