Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MySQL and PostgreSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and development, particularly within the e-commerce industry. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain database systems using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Optimize and tune database performance for e-commerce applications.
• Develop and manage database schemas, tables, triggers, and indexes to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for database designs, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements:
• Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Familiarity with data modeling and normalization.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and migration.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• E-commerce Platform Knowledge:
• Experience working on e-commerce platforms and understanding of their unique database requirements.
• Ability to integrate and manage databases for high-traffic e-commerce sites.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions .
• Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., MongoDB, ) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with database monitoring tools and performance bench marking.
