Key Responsibilities
GST and TDS Expertise:
* Filed 45+ GST and TDS returns with precision, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Successfully addressed and resolved multiple GST notices, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Represented the company in GST personal hearings, effectively defending organizational positions.
* Experience in GST filings, including GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C.
Regulatory & Compliance:
* Managed GST appeals by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with relevant teams to support the company’s case.
* Expertise in GST audits, statutory filings, and reconciliation of data for compliance.
Accounting & Finalizations:
* Preparing statutory accounts and handling day-to-day accounting activities.
* Ensuring accuracy in payments and maintaining records.
* Recording and filing cash transactions, controlling credit, and chasing debts.
* Processing and filing invoices and conducting bank reconciliations.
* Managing ledgers, journals, and other financial documentation.
* Handling expense requests and verifying financial accuracy.
Documentation & Reporting:
* Updating and maintaining procedural documentation for seamless operations.
* Managing communication with banks, including cheques and reconciliations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com, CMA, CA (Articles completed or inter-completed), or equivalent.
Experience: 3 to 7 years in statutory filings with a focus on GST, TDS, and finalizations. Prior experience in an Auditor’s office (GST Audit Manager role) is highly preferred.
Skills Required:
Expertise in Tally Prime.
Strong knowledge of GST filings and resolutions.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Location: Candidates from Coimbatore are preferred.
