If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Engineer - Component Engineering in Coimbatore.What a typical day looks like: Responsible to support different design/Manufacturing site for Product, Part, drawing and other design related process and maintenance of various business-related documents including datasheets, functional processes, policies, engineering drawings, engineering changes, project reports, specifications, product proposals and product / Part documentation.Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information & approved vendor lists in global component database.Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic & Indirect materials Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets.Validate MPN and provide AlternatesMonitor Component EOL and manage the component obsolescence Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the CompanyThe experience we're looking to add to our team:4 to 7 Yrs of exp with Qualifications BE, ECE, EEE, E&TC , E&I.Good English communication skills.Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN's) to Purchasing and EngineeringFamiliar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.Knowledge of any design software's software like OrCAD, CIS, Allegro desirableExcellent communicationGood Analytical & Logical reasoningHere are a few examples of what you will get for the great work you provide:Paid Time OffHealth InsuranceMR03Job CategoryProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
