Job Description:

We're inviting applications for the position of Clinical Pharmacist at Karpagam Medical College and Hospital in Coimbatore. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD and are passionate about pharmaceutical care, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately dispense medications based on prescription orders.
• Provide drug information and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy.
• Conduct medication therapy management, including reconciliation and review of regimens.
• Monitor patient response to medications and make recommendations for adjustments.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Educate patients on medication use, adherence, and self-care practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Previous experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting, is advantageous.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacotherapy principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation.
