Full job description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Service Engineer to perform the assembling, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with medical devices, a solid understanding of their technical operations, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service. Basic Hospital experience is needed. Equipment Knowledge is must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assembly: Assemble medical devices and equipment, ensuring all components are correctly fitted, tested, and configured for optimal operation.
• Installation & Setup: Perform installation, calibration, and configuration of medical equipment at client sites.
• Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare facilities, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Training: Educate healthcare professionals on the proper usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for medical devices.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working as a Service Engineer with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining medical equipment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of the operation, repair, and servicing of medical devices such as diagnostic imaging equipment, patient monitoring systems, infusion pumps, anesthesia machines, etc.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in medical equipment service or related fields are preferred.
• Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with a variety of medical equipment brands and models.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO, FDA, or CE for medical devices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
