Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze medical records from healthcare providers at Corrohealth.
• Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical coding for billing and insurance claims.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any uncertainties in medical documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare and submit reports on coding activities and discrepancies.
• Assist in the training and development of new coding staff.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements:
